Following a topic started by kimoomik, I thought it may be a good idea to reconsider the 'map no-replay' value. The current value is set to 4, meaning that after a map has been voted as the next map, it is removed from the votetab for 4 maps to come.

 

 

We had a similar discussion internally, and we basically came to the conclusion that setting the map no-replay to a value greater than 4 would be unfair towards a large portion of our regular players (after all, there's a reason why these maps are voted so frequently). However, with the entrance of the new maps there's much more diversity available - it is very unlikely that even our regular players won't like at least a couple of the new maps. So perhaps we should reconsider this decision.

To be honest I think, if possible, the map order displayed should be random. I say this because I like most players, simply pick the maps I see without having to scroll through the list. This could explain the sudden decrease in popularity of TO-Castles

We sure do :)

 

The map no-replay value will be increased to 8 for now, as an experiment. If it works out well, we'll leave it at 8. If not, we will adjust the value as necessary. :)

I think you should increase the map no replay over 20, because I'm seeing the same situtation as before, I mean, players always vote the same maps...the difference is that the cycle takes 8 maps :/

Unlucky most of players look to be happy playing everytime the same maps...

I hope you will increase it over 20, in my opinion, it's not exagerrated :D

I play to long enough and know enough maps and the great part is just garbage 
There are perhaps 20-25 good maps but they are not all on the server

Federico is right, It depends on players, even basic maps like Thunderball, WR, GlasgowKiss, Forge etc. are great. You just have to learn players to play on them.

 

Really think about it admins! :)

 

"New maps on server, that would be great, but it's half the battle. Somehow you have to convince people to select them. The only unusual map I was playing last time was Transmoney.

Maybe it would be to categorically but you could remove usual, often playing maps for a couple of days to learn people to play other, new maps. You won't lose your players, because you are the last server and every CTF player is addicted to you."

blister thunderball rapid trooper getaway are okay

TO-@-CompleX  is a nice map radarusers get kicked his asses and on ctf it is a massacre 
TO-007-Stack... is a nice and popular map (why is that map not on the server/s?)
TO-007-Complex, TO-007-Facility, next 2 great maps (but for ctf not sure)
007 temple great too
italy not on the server (if i remember me right)
=foe= rapidwaters is rather mediocre but I prefer the remaining maps before
