what maps you like to see at the capture the flag server

Sometimes when ur playing SF side, u spawn the next round were u ended the previous round in the map, its pretty annoying cuz dust itself is a pretty sweet map.

..this is a TDM problem. It never happens in CTF.
I suspect a few more start points could fix that problem.

On a side note. I'm building a fall map that actually has the aspect of capturing flags.

I didn't build a new map, but I changed FallFallFall. I've added portals on each hq and 4 portals at the bottom of the map. So you have to fall 2 times to capture.
This I would very much like to see on the server. :cheer:
New version further down..

FallFallFall has always been a bit pointless for CTF, but this actually adds a competitive aspect to the map, well done!

I will add the map to CTF later this night. :)

there should be some kind of filter that will filter maps which were recently played. Because Castles and cold are played 5000x a day. Even like this Castles, Cold, Castles etc,. I think there is a big chance to involve players to play more good maps imho.

I have seen that filter in use in the past. I like the idea.

A little update on fallfall: When 2 ppl cross a portal at the same time one of them gets telefragged. This has now been changed.
Also notice there are 2 entrances to the 1 in hq. So it would seem ppl just pop in from nowhere when using the other portal.
You can't shoot through a portal, but you can throw knifes or nades (where nades are available).
Also player starts now face the proper direction.

Thank you, guys, very much.
With some help from ZEE.WONK I've made a bigger version of the Deagle map.
I was thinking if it was possible to use the bigger map for regular weapons and the normal Deagle map with pistols only, or at lest without riffles?
The map is at Deagle spawn thread.

is there a place i can play these maps to see how they are and play them already?
because i wanne know where i can find new or other maps to play!?

i tried on other servers but not all of the maps are there to play.

You can manually add them to your TO installation, so you can play them in a single player/training session.

To do so;

  1. Download the map you'd like to try
  2. Navigate to the TacticalOps directory of your TO installation, the default location is: C:Program Files (x86)InfogramesTactical OpsTacticalOps
  3. Place all the map files in the corresponding folders (most maps already have the correct directory structure, so you can simply cut and paste all folders, but if this is not the case then simply check the extension of each file, and look which folder has files in it with the same extension) (*.unr files go in the Maps folder, *.umx files in the Music folder, and so on).
  4. Fire up TO and start a practice session, everything from this point is self-explanatory ;)
