Thomas 312 Posted August 17, 2013 Regarding the massive packetloss yesterday as well as the day before that, the issue was caused by a large DDoS attack. The attack was not aimed at us, but at another service which also affected us. This is quite possibly in relation with the attack on DigiD (for those who don't know, DigiD is an online service of the Dutch government, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DigiD for more info) as the government appears to host some of its services on the same network as us.http://news.softpedia.com/news/Dutch-Go ... 6189.shtml (Sorry, couldn't find a better website with an English article about the attack).
